What do you teach about the security of the believer?
God is faithful, and eternally committed to securing our salvation (1 Cor. 10:13, Hebrews 7:25). God has never gone back on a contract, but He will not honor one with those who do—the Old Testament testifies to that (see Romans 11).  Believing in Jesus, repenting of your sins, confessing your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and being baptized for remission of your sins, is just the beginning of a new life. Having proven through these things that you possess the tools necessary to a life of service and persecution, Christ expects us to run the race and not waver from it. If we neglect the salvation we have been given, we will lose it! The epistles reveal some stern warnings to the saints in Christ to remain faithful, being careful not to fall away (1 Corinthians 9:27, 10:12, Hebrews 3:12, 10:38-39). Man is a free moral agent, and can choose whom he will serve. One who despises the gift of Christ and grieves the Holy Spirit in disobedience falls away from grace (John 15:6, Galatians 5:4, 2 Timothy 2:12, Romans 11:22, 2 Peter 2:20-21).
