| Baptism is for remission of sins (Acts 2:38) and entrance into the kingdom of God, His church. Every case of conversion following the resurrection of Christ includes baptism. Baptism is the means by which we access Christ’s blood—it is a likeness of His death (Rom. 6:1-7). It must be done in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19) and in faith—that is, for the reason God intended it be done (Acts 19:1-5, 1 Peter 3:21). |
